Loving Lord, when I remember You upon my bed and meditate on You in the watches of the night, my soul is satisfied as with marrow and fatness. If sleep eludes me for a season, I will fill the quiet room with whispers of Your goodness. You have been my help, and in the shadow of Your wings I will sing for joy. Grant me sleep when it is time, and let my wakefulness be holy communion. Amen.
