Devotional

Blind Bartimaeus shouted all the louder when the crowd told him to be quiet: 'Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!' When Jesus asked what he wanted, he replied simply: 'Lord, I want to see.' We need both physical health and the opening of the eyes of our heart.

Pray With Me

Lord Jesus, Light of the world, I cry out to You with an honest heart: Lord, I want to see! Heal my physical eyes and senses, and open the eyes of my heart. Dispel the blindness of spiritual complacency, confusion, and fear. Let the eyes of my understanding be enlightened so that I may know the hope of Your calling and the riches of Your glory. In Your holy name, Amen.

Scriptural Declaration

The Lord opens my eyes! I walk in spiritual clarity, perceiving God’s truth and following His righteous light.
