Devotional

Chronic pain or prolonged illness can wear down the strongest resolve. In Psalm 73, Asaph confessed: 'My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.' Even when outward vitality declines, our inner being is renewed day by day.

Pray With Me

Faithful Lord, my energy is depleted and my body feels heavy with weariness. I have tried to push through in my own stamina and reached the end of myself. Forgive my pride. Be the strength of my heart today. Breathe new life into my lungs, stamina into my muscles, and clarity into my mind. Lift me up on wings like eagles so that I may walk and not faint. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Scriptural Declaration

Though my flesh may feel weak, God is the strength of my heart. He gives power to the faint and multiplies my endurance.
