Devotional

Medical science now confirms what Scripture has taught for millenia: harboring bitterness, resentment, and unforgiveness produces physical disease and emotional toxicity. Forgiving someone does not mean excusing their sin; it means handing the debt over to God so that you can be set free.

Pray With Me

Holy God, You forgave me an unpayable debt of sin through the sacrifice of Your Son. I confess that I have harbored anger, resentment, and bitter thoughts toward those who hurt me. Forgive me, Lord. By an act of my will and by the power of Your Spirit, I choose to forgive them right now. I release all desire for revenge into Your just hands. Cleanse my heart and let Your healing balm wash over my soul. Amen.

Scriptural Declaration

I choose forgiveness over bitterness. My heart is free from resentment, and God’s healing virtue flows freely in my life.
