A Prayer for Peace and Safety in Your Home

Father, thank You for the place I call home.

I ask You to protect this household and everyone who enters it. Keep us safe from danger and give us wisdom about practical security, healthy boundaries, and responsible choices.

More than physical safety, I ask for peace within these walls.

Keep anger from becoming cruelty, disagreement from becoming contempt, and stress from making us careless with one another. Teach us to speak truth without tearing each other down.

Help this home be a place where people can rest, pray, laugh, recover, and be honest. Give us courage to address problems instead of hiding them.

Provide what we need financially and practically. Give us wisdom with spending, maintenance, schedules, and responsibilities.

For anyone in an unsafe home situation, I pray for protection, trustworthy support, and a clear path toward safety.

Let my home reflect hospitality, compassion, and peace. May the people who live here and visit here experience grace.
