A Prayer for Courage When You Feel Afraid
When fear rises, ask God for courage, wisdom, and the ability to take the next faithful step.

Pray With Me
Father, I feel afraid.
I do not want to deny that fear is real, but I also do not want it to make every decision for me.
Help me understand what this fear is telling me. If there is real danger, give me wisdom and courage to respond wisely. If my mind is imagining the worst, help me return to what is true.
Remind me that courage is not the absence of fear. It is choosing the next faithful action while trusting that I am not alone.
Give me steady breathing, clear thinking, and wise people to talk with. Protect me from isolating myself or making impulsive decisions because I feel overwhelmed.
Strengthen me to speak when I need to speak, leave when I need to leave, wait when I need to wait, and ask for help when I need it.
I place the outcome in Your hands. My confidence is not that nothing difficult will happen, but that Your presence will not leave me.
Give me courage for this moment.
