Pray With Me
Father, as I prepare for surgery, I bring You my fear, my questions, and my hope.
You know every detail of my body and every concern I am carrying. Calm my heart as I wait. Keep my mind from being overwhelmed by possibilities I cannot control.
Give wisdom, steadiness, and clear judgment to the surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, technicians, and every person involved in my care. Help them communicate well and make sound decisions.
Protect me through the procedure. Strengthen my body for recovery and give me patience with the healing process. Help me follow wise medical guidance and accept the support I need.
I pray for the people who love me and may be anxious too. Give them peace while they wait and strength for whatever caregiving may be ahead.
If complications or delays arise, keep fear from taking over. Remind me that Your presence is not limited to the outcome I prefer.
I place my life in Your hands while also receiving the care You provide through skilled people and medicine.
Give me peace for this next step.
