Overcoming the Fear of Inadequacy and Imposter Syndrome
Rest in Christ's sufficiency when feelings of unworthiness, fraudulence, or weakness threaten to paralyze you.
Devotional
'Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God.' When Moses argued that he was slow of speech, God asked, 'Who made man's mouth?' God does not call the equipped; He equips the called.
Scripture References
Pray With Me
Lord God, You see the nagging voice telling me I am not enough, that I am a fraud, and that I will soon fail. Forgive me for relying on my own adequacy. I confess that in my own flesh I am insufficient, but in Christ, all Your promises are Yes and Amen! My competence comes from You alone. Silence the voice of the accuser and empower me to serve with humble boldness. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Scriptural Declaration
My sufficiency is from God, not myself. I can do all things through Christ who infuses me with inner strength.
