Pray With Me

Father, before I ask You for anything today, I want to say thank You.

Thank You for life, for breath, for another morning, and for the mercy that meets me again. Thank You for the people who have loved me, the lessons that have shaped me, and the ordinary provisions I can easily overlook.

Open my eyes to Your goodness today. Keep me from moving so quickly that I miss the small gifts around me—a kind word, a needed conversation, food on the table, strength for a task, or a moment of quiet.

Gratitude does not erase what is difficult, so I bring those things to You too. Teach me to be honest about pain without becoming blind to grace.

Guard me from comparison. Help me celebrate what You are doing in other people’s lives without believing that their blessings diminish mine.

Let thankfulness shape the way I speak. Make me generous with encouragement and slow to complain.

Whatever this day holds, remind me that I have reasons to worship even before circumstances improve.

Thank You for staying faithful when my feelings change. I receive today with open hands.

In Jesus’ name, amen.
