Lord of Love, in a culture full of betrayal, sarcasm, and anger, protect my heart from becoming hard and cynical. Forgive me when I have shut people out or doubted Your goodness. Take away any stony heart and give me a heart of flesh—tender to Your Spirit and compassionate toward broken humanity. Keep my love vibrant, my faith childlike, and my hope blazing.
