Devotional

'Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?' The transition of adult children leaving home can bring a quiet grief, but God has rich, fruitful kingdom assignments for this next chapter.

Pray With Me

Faithful Lord, the house is quiet and our daily routines have changed as our children have stepped into adulthood. We thank You for preserving them through childhood and launching them into the world. Forgive our anxiety or desire to micromanage their lives. Teach us how to love them as adults, and renew our purpose as a couple and individuals. They will still bear fruit in old age; they will be fresh and flourishing! Amen.

Scriptural Declaration

This new season is full of God’s purpose and joy. My adult children are in God’s hands, and our future is flourishing in Christ.
