God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. When mental anguish, racing thoughts, or dark depression cast their shadow, remember that Christ is the light of your countenance. You do not have to believe every dark thought your mind generates.

Pray With Me
Father of mercies and God of all comfort, I bring my troubled thoughts to You. The storm inside my head feels loud and heavy. Forgive me for accepting despair and hopelessness. In Jesus' name, I silence the lies of the enemy. Holy Spirit, flood my mind with Your peace, sound judgment, and love. Lift this heavy blanket of sorrow, and restore to me the joy of Your salvation. In Christ's name, Amen.
