Defender of the Poor, You hear the cries of the oppressed and the tears of the helpless. I stand in the gap for orphans, foster children, the unborn, trafficking victims, and the lonely elderly today. Dispatch angelic protection where human help is absent. Break the arm of the wicked and rescue those led away to slaughter. Raise up bold believers to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. Amen.
